Concert Hall

In 1993, at the Forest Opera the construction of a concert hall was commenced - a building that would house the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Sopot, operating as part of the Baltic Artistic Agency BART. The concert hall was designed by Henryka Jakubowska.
The building comprises of a concert hall for approximately 300 audience, two small section rehearsal rooms, office and storage spaces and a hotel. The concert hall building was commissioned on 24 June 1997.
Currently, during the autumn and winter periods, regular concerts take place in the PFK Concert Hall. Thanks to the especially designed acoustics, records may be recorded in the concert hall, both with and without the participation of the audience. The concert hall is also used for organising fashion shows, banquets, balls or wedding receptions (the mobile stage and folding chairs allow a liberal modification of the interior).
